Has anyone had experience buying the Prius 16/17 OEM all weather mats via the chat shop? I filled out the 'contact us' but no one has replied. I'm hoping to confirm how many mats come with the purchase--is it just the driver's side as pictured, or also the passenger and rear seats... thanks

I'd definitely wait for a response from Prius Shop before doing any purchase.

I'm so jealous! Amazon dot co dot UK has almost nothing for Gen 4 Prius. :notworthy:

thanks for the link. I had searched amazon multiple times and not found them. Odd. I'm assuming the 2016 are the same as the 2017, although the Amazon page says 'does not fit' my vehicle

I had the same problem when looking for all weather mats for my prius. Amazon listed the WeatherTech mats that WeatherTech said would fit but Amazon said wouldn't. I still ordered them and they fit great and I like them better than the oem weather mats. For the cargo area, the oem rubber mat is the best I think.

They are the same. That is what I have in my 2017 Prius 2.
Do you need the cargo mat too? You would need the one without the spare tire.

Here is the link for the cargo mats. http://www.amazon.com/GEUNINE-TOYOTA-PRIUS-WEATHER-PT908-47162/dp/B01BFOKMGG/

Just a quick question for those that have the Prius OEM all-weather mats. What is the underside of them like? The reason I ask is that I had OEM all-weather mats in a Subaru Forester and the bottom had these little rubber spikes that I'm assuming were to keep it from moving. The problem was, it kind of chewed up the floor liner after a few years of use. They were much nicer to clean than carpet mats though.

The floor & main cargo pieces are molded to fit & curve up at the edges. The 4 cargo pieces for the seat backs & flaps use a Velcro-like fastener to attach to the floor liner. They work very well I have had mine for a year.

I bought my Toyota OEM mats from a vendor on Amazon, com.

Oops, I should have specified, I was just wondering about the bottom of the floor mats. I did just order the cargo mat from Amazon though. Much easier to clean than carpet.

What is the underside of the driver/passenger floor mats like? Are there any spiky things, or is it smooth? I'm still looking...

    I need to look.
I know the drivers side mat is anchored by the hooks. Parts of the cargo mat for the rear seat are attached with velcro to the original covering. Not sure about the others.

Thanks for looking. I just can't seem to find a pic of the underside. I already have the cargo mat, but I'm really just interested in the bottom of the floor mats. Thanks again!

Slightly off-topic, but FWIW the OEM all-weather mats that came on my Prime (PT908-47171) have the mentioned rubber spikes on all of them (safe for the trunk).

Just a quick update. the ones I bought from Amazon do in fact have the spikes on part of the bottoms. The mats are very nice, so I'm considering going all OCD and just snipping off all of the rubber spikes. They probably do keep the mats from moving around, but I just remember them sort of tearing up the floor liner on my previous vehicle (Subaru Forester).

Maybe the trick would be to try them first and monitor the floor liner every week or so. I'm overthinking this, I know...

Well, I can say that the passenger mat has ~800 spikes on it. The driver's side, slightly less. :eek:o_O

I have Weathertech liners for our 2010 and while I like them...they tend to slide around a bit because the bottom of the liners are smooth. This happens more on the passenger side.

For our Prius V, I ordered Husky liners because the liner bottoms have 'spikes' to aid keeping them in place. Sure enough...they work far better than the WeatherTechs. I heartily recommend the Huskys. BTW - the best price I found was via Ebay...so poke around there if you are interested.

Edit - I did consider the Toyota 'leaf' liners...but they look strange to me.
