Maybe that's the idea. To keep the number of miles driven down.

Maybe so, but at this rate I feel like joining the Amish.

LOL, but I have no sun or rainbow like I used to.

Just in town stuff today. Went to lunch, then to grocery store, home, and then a drive around the lake.

You've got it bad. :p I know my weekly and monthly road trips are tough. Can't accelerate as slow as the coach wants with traffic behind me. Cruise and stop is no biggie.

That will make it worse in the rankings. The score is based on MPG / miles driven.

PS, I was #1 an hour ago. I'm sure it's changed now.

So are we worried about the score/ranking or the sheep? If just the sheep, quit while you're ahead. If it's the overall score, keep driving, super eco-like until you reach your goal. Don't get carried away and join the Amish, though. They would probably see the sheep and oranges as food and eat them.

Mr. Mark, your #1 position is safe; it appears to be an absolute, we could theoretically all be at that #1 position, 999.9 MPG!

You are #1, and I also had that privilege, simultaneously. Other values are what they are...

LOL, I wanted to get out today and bulk my stats because I have to do a road trip next week in the middle of an arctic air cold front moving in Tuesday. Those low temps are guaranteed to shrink my stats.

Notice that the more miles you accumulate at that ridiculous 999.9 MPG, the higher up the totem pole you go. I guess, in that one category, you stay "1st", with a bunch of other people, unless you get passed by enough others who have driven farther, at the same 999.9 MPG! Oh what silly games we little kids play!! No more Varooooom for us! We've moved up to "math?"

I do both. I love driving every mile. Even more so than my 2010. Sheep and other doodads just make it more fun. I was pretty accomplished in my HV only 2010. Though frustrating, the driving coach is making me do a 180° when in EV mode as compared to HV driving techniques.

One example is in HV mode while staying out of the red, you quickly get up to speed and glide. Not so in EV mode. Getting big numbers in EV only is a different animal than hypermiling in HV. It's fun to learn something new and try to excel at it. Lots of wind and lots of rolling hills here.
