After about a month of window shopping, picked up a shiny Prime Advanced in Blizzard Pearl yesterday! I knew the car would come home with us because the wife had a big smile as we walked up to it at the dealer! It’s going to take a long time to figure out all the bells & whistles. Can’t believe the size of all the manuals that came with it. I asked the sales guy if there was a course at the local community college for it! Now, I hope to be able to turn in my leased Fiat 500e to make room in the garage. I’ll have to make three more $98.75 monthly lease payments, but I wanted to be sure to still get the $4500 fed tax credit (depending on congress) for the Prime. I’ll try to add photos if it stops raining. Craig
Ah, rain, blessed rain! Send some our way, will you! And congratulations on your new acquisition. Enjoy your new car; give yourself about 5 hours sitting with the charged car turned on, manuals in your lap, to play with all your toys!! .
Congrats! If you suffer from insomnia, the pdfs of the manuals are here. Be sure to scroll down for Navigation & Maintenance guides.
Congrats Craig! My advice - just learn one thing about it per day. In a month, you won't know all there is to know, but you'll know all that you need to know.
There is also a way to preheat or precool your Advanced with Prime Apps, see this post for a description of how to get that setup (it's the short version of what the manual says, vaguely). In Portland, OR? I think the official estimate is in 3-5 months...
