Not In direct plain view. But I had my bag on the bottom passenger floor board. I was in there less than an hour when it happened. I didn’t suspect anything was going to happen because it was in a fairly decent area and in front of the restaurant. But shit happens...

 

Same thing happened to me about 5 years ago. At a restaurant. Had my laptop underneath my seat for cryin out loud. Still smashed the window, found the laptop and of course took off. Filed a report. Nothing ever came of it. I feel for you bro!!!

 

Since Marukai is now Tokyo Central, I wonder if they have it. I'll check soonish.

Tried to adjust the coilovers a bit lower but don’t want tires to rub as much. I need to get lower profile tires soon. Have fatty tires 215/50 at the moment that came with the rims. Don’t wanna burn money if they still have 50% left in them.

 

Guessing the alarm was on, though it won't actually go off unless the door is opened?

 

The factory Prius doesn't have an alarm. Try rolling down your window and use your remote to lock the door. Open the door. It won't go off. Even if you have factory alarm. Most of them don't have shock or glass breakage.

 

Uk models do, but it’s intelligent and figures out the windows are open when the car is locked and so doesn’t arm the sensor.
Break the glass when the alarm is on and windows shut and it will make a fair noise

Looking at the broken passenger window, that would've been quite a reach to pick something up from down on the floor board.

 

Hopefully you only have it turn on when the brights are activated. Those things spray light everywhere.

 

Bought my Prius a week ago .. did the inspection in my country ( Lithuania ), wrong front left headlight is for left sided roads (probably from UK) . Found out that car was slightly rear ended.. found bad design by toyota ... for welding parts.. that water would 100% get int to the car after such accident. Had to use rubber sealant to seal up all the holes between car body parts, not much .. like 1mm (0.04 inch). Looking for tiers for winter have 4 days left to change by law

 

Getting the itch to mod again....

But since I just went over 100k, I
