Got a hold of my iPhone X + Apple Leather Case and the Qi Wireless Charging pad works great!

Only downsides I've found so far is that bumps in the road easily disrupt the charging, and it charges extremely slow when using navigation.

Slow Qi charging was typical with my Nexus 6 also and never enough to charge the phone while using a navigation app. FYI, the iPhone X costs you $999 but we Brits are charged £999 and they wonder why Apple makes such huge profits!

You Brits get a female Doctor Who while we have to pay for garbage that is Star Trek Discovery. I think you have the better end of the bargain.

iPhone 8+ works fine with Qi charging also BTW.

Meh, haven't watched Dr Who since David Tennant, or Star Trek since Captain Janeway! While we don't have to pay for the former, the latter required an additional subscription. I'll grant you our National Health Service might be second rate for breath of treatments and waiting times, but then again it is free to Brits at point of need from cradle to grave. I have had, and continue to get excellent service from our NHS.

Iphone 7+ with QI charging adapter works well with the Prius QI charging plate too. I have a Magpul case over top of it.

Aah, I see. We call it physiotherapy, but yes; that comes free also. Cancer treatments and surgery are also covered, as are AIDS, psychiatry and essential transplant surgeries. All that sounds great, but we do pay taxes to cover the cost. Originally, National Health Insurance Contribution deducted from earnings at source and now supplemented by Income Tax and Value Added Tax (VAT, a kind of purchase tax). NHIC is not called a tax by Govt and can be manipulated by them to say they haven't increased tax on income when, in effect, they have. Political chicanery is the same the whole world over!

what about glasses and hearing aides? my private insurance doesn't cover them, and they seem to be iffy on most policies.

You get free eye tests and prescription medicines if you're over 50 and free over-ear hearing aids. You have to pay for your glasses and higher quality heating aids. Dental can be cheaper with NHS than private but does not cover implants. Emergency maxillofacial treatment does come free to accident/crime victims where that is in an NHS hospital.

My home contents insurance covers replacement of glasses and hearing aids where lost or damaged accidentally, no doubt leading to increased premiums next time!

Also works, of course, with the iPhone 8. I'm quite satisfied.
