You are definitely the one who drives the most electric miles. I was making inroads until we bought the Leaf. I'm up to 28k EV in our PiP though. Down to just 24% EV miles though lifetime since we still take it for our road trips. Will be selling it in about 2 years from now or a little less. I predict I'll be around 35k EV when we sell it, maybe a little more.
Not sure in the grand scheme of things. Here's where I stand this morning since I bought it 10 months ago.
Looks like that ratio might change by the end of November. We're making tentative plans for a trip to Ohio for Thanksgiving. Our first real ROAD TRIP in the PiP!
25.5K on the PIP...but 44k including the Leaf (2 more months and it will be 3 years old) PIP is coming up on 6 years. Mike
38k, but my hv is climbing due to the need to use the gas in 6 months. i'm only going to add 4 gallons this time.
we take my wife's hycam for long trips. everything i need is within 10 miles one way, and most within 5. supermarket recycling (dump) gas station cleaners liquor store restaurants garden center toy store clothing stores starbucks banks etc, all less than 5 miles away. this tank is from last november, 1,900 miles ev, 500 miles hv. summer will bring more driving, but still mostly local.
We have 224,500 miles on our 2012. We only got it a couple thousand miles ago. It did not come with the EV charger so maybe prior owner didn't use much? It still runs like a brand new car but I noticed on full charge it used to say 11.9 miles and now it says 9.7....However, I think the number is off because I drove it a lot further than 9.7 miles and it was still running on electric... I don't drive this one so I don't really monitor anything on it.
