This is specific to Canadian models: would there be any way to "cherry pick" items in the Prius Tech Advanced Package. It'd be nice to have the "Integrated garage door opener" (aka HomeLink mirror?), but I'm not interested, actually somewhat averse to Softex seats, and loss of spare tire is a dealer breaker.

Taking it at face value: seems like getting the garage door opener requires losing the spare tire, which seems a bit draconian, lol.

Wait for 2018? or 2019? or whenever they reshuffle the packages?

Homelink can be installed aftermarket (practically all manufacturers except a few Europeans ones use the same GenTex system)

See it's even shown as an accessory in PriusShop. Except it's not compatible with vehicles equipped with Toyota Safety Sense Package, which is standard now I believe.

They're only on the Prime though. (Unless you're in QC which still has a $500 rebate for hybrids)

Sorry, I'm guilty of editing my response soon after posting, maybe not helping matters: what's only on the Prime? I'll leave that post alone, lol.

Thanks for all the work on this Tony. It aided me in shopping for #5 yesterday. My wife's daily driver is now an 18 silver Prius 4.

How does the Eco, 4 and 4 Touring achieve the additional roughly 3 cu ft of cargo space?

I have the Prius Two, but I'd like to know how to tell if it's the Eco version. Is it built into the VIN? Also, according to the charts, only the 3 and above came with the Bone White China accents, but it must've been added to mine.

Is it missing the spare and rear wiper? In the States that's 2 Eco.

That's an easier way to tell then. Mines has the spare wheel and the rear wiper.
