sorry if someone else already mentioned it, but at least for 2017 i can confirm the 2 eco does not have this standard- Tonneau Cover (one-piece foldable fabric). in fact, you cant even put on on if you wanted to because its missing the brackets. Youre only option is the roll out one, which MSRP is like $500. Definitely a shocker if you arent prepared for it.

A few corrections for the table regarding the 2017.5 models. The Two (and higher) now have the following as standard:

    - Two-toned wheel covers
    - Blind Spot Monitoring
    - Rear Cross Traffic Alert
    - Intelligent Clearance Sonar
    - Simple Intelligent Parking Assist

I thought it was just BSM and RCTA for the 2017.5 model? ICS w/ S-IPA is still reserved for Four/Four Touring?

I’m not allowed to post a link yet on this site, but here’s the text of a memo I found a few months ago dated April 7, 2017 which you can find with google. In addition, I purchased a new Two in May and can confirm all these features are present. I believe they beefed up the Two to further differentiate it from the newly introduced One and I think it makes the Two an extremely great deal.

    -----

Toyota Fleet is pleased to announce product updates and pricing for the current 2017MY Prius. Starting with April 1st production, we will be introducing a Prius One model and adding active safety features to most of the existing Prius LB models to improve the value of America’s top selling hybrid without impacting its MSRP. This great value story is detailed below.

    I. 2017MY Prius - Running Changes
    - Re-introducing Prius One (1221) which is built off of Prius Two. Prius One has the same specifications as the current Prius Two, less Spare Tire, Rear Wiper and Driver and Passenger Seatback Pockets. This model will significantly lower the entry point for consumers to the Prius Lift-back line-up with a starting MSRP of $23,475, $1,210 below the current Prius Two.
o Grade One includes Toyota Safety Sense (TSS),

-Enhancements to Prius Two (1223) include:
o 15-in. 5-spoke alloy wheels with two-tone wheel covers, adding a more premium look to the core Prius model.

o Safety Plus Package (BB) with Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) w/Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) and Intelligent Clearance Sonar (ICS) with Intelligent Parking Assist (IPA). These in-high demand, advanced safety features add $1,000 in value to this model and will be added at no charge. Pricing will reflect a MSRP complimentary discount (BC) of $1,000.

-Enhancements to Prius Three (1225) and Three Touring (1226) include:
o Safety Plus Package (BF) with Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) w/Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), and Intelligent Clearance Sonar (ICS) with Intelligent Parking Assist (IPA). These in high demand, advanced safety features add $1,000 in value to these models and will be added at no charge. Pricing will reflect a MSRP complimentary discount (BG) of $1,000.

-Enhancements to Prius Four (1227) and Four Touring (1228) include:
o Safety Plus Package (BH) with Intelligent Clearance Sonar (ICS) with Intelligent Parking Assist (IPA). These in high demand, advanced safety features, currently only available as part of the Premium Convenience Package (CX) add $500 in value to these models and will be added at no charge. Pricing will reflect a MSRP complimentary discount (BI) of $500.

-Additional Product Changes - Premium Convenience Package (CX) previously available in Prius Four (1227) and Four Touring (1228) will no longer have Intelligent Clearance Sonar (ICS) with Intelligent Parking Assist (IPA). As a result of these specification changes, the code and price for this updated Premium Convenience Package is (CP) and $1,205.

Is there one standard oem tire for the 2017 three touring model?

I don't think so. Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 Plus is common. And Yokohama Avid??

Just bought a "2017" Prius Two. How can I find out if it's a 2017.5? The reason I ask is that I seem to have BSM (i.e. the mirrors look like they have the little monitor icons on them), but it doesn't seem to be activated. Can someone help walk me through how to activate that feature? Thank you!

Also, disappointed that the car didn't come with alloy wheels, just rather cheesy plastic wheel covers. Wish list #1 new wheels!

It has alloys underneath the covers, they're somewhat plain-jane though, and lack centre caps, which will set you back $70~80 for a set through dealership. I think cheaper versions are now available through EBay??

As I understood the Toyota fleet announcement, the 2017.5 model safety upgrades started on April 1, so all 2017 model nameplates marked April 1st and later have the BSM.
Which is what my wife and I are interested in- Standard on a $26K Prius two- not available on a 2017 Corolla, but available on a Camry LE with a $2125 moonroof option package that is needed to get the BSM feature= $27,000+ car - and not a hybrid, either.
So it appears, that a Prius two is the cheapest way to obtain blind spot monitoring.

The BSM is general activated by default but can be (de)activated through the setting screen using the steering wheel cursor. Did you inadvertently deactivate it at some time?

I don't believe so and, yes, I would have thought it would be activated by default. Which is why I was surprised on a recent 400 mile round trip (mostly interstate travel) when I didn't notice it lighting up. Maybe it's more subtle than I imagine it's supposed to be... i.e. not there to distract but only there to light up should I put on my turn signal and someone is in the blind spot(?).

That shouldn't be necessary, but you must have the headlight stalk pushed out to the main beam position for it to work as advertised.

Thanks! Checked last night and it was disabled... and easily enabled. We'll see how it goes today.

Hmm. That really does sound like a glitch! Maybe time to ask dealer to investigate further. Good luck!
