Tried searching but couldn't get any results so if I'm doing something wrong please forgive me. Have a Gen 4 premium but want to know how do I get the electric mileage? I went through the screens and could only find that 54% of my mileage is electric according to the trip since last reset. Is there anyway to get the exact electric mileage? Thanks. Nexus 6P ?
Want the system to tell me the exact electric mileage without calculating the mileage myself. I remember reading something earlier this year. Hence why I'm asking. Nexus 6P ?
I was a little confused by your question (see below signature.) It would help if you'd post a photo of the screen you're discussing. Let me give a possible examples: calculate time in hours - 57 minutes / 60 minutes per hour = 0.95 hour calculate miles - 0.95 hour * 3 mph = 2.85 miles calculate EV miles - 10% * 2.85 miles = 0.285 EV miles This example came from: Prius Prime Plus in my hands | PriusChat In my case, I reset Trip A at the beginning of each trip with 100% SOC to read out the EV miles directly PROVIDED the car is in only, EV mode. It does not work in EV Auto mode. When driving in mixed EV and hybrid vehicle (HV) mode, I can not separate the EV miles from gas miles. But one could do a 'back of the envelope' calculation: calculate gallons burned - 7172 miles / 108.5 MPG = 66.1 gallons estimate gas miles driven - 66.1 gallons * 54 MPG (EPA composite) ~= 3569 miles calculate estimated EV miles driven - 7172 miles - 3569 miles ~= 3603 miles Bob Wilson ps. I was confused by this: "Gen 4 premium" - "Gen 4" would be the current hybrid Prius, not plug-in, and the "premium" is a Prime trim, middle of three trims. "electric mileage" - This could be miles driven in EV. However, it could also mean "electric mileage" which is normally measured in 'miles per kiloWatt hour', a measure of EV mode efficiency. Sad to say, miles per kiloWatt hour is not something I've found because there is no cumulative kiloWatt metric. There are two live graphs of mi/kWh using either 1 or 5 mile x-axis.
Thanks Wilson. You answered everything I needed and then some. I have a '17 Prime Premium although at times I wish I just paid the extra and got the Advanced. But then again it's the wife's car, not mine. Nexus 6P ?
I put the car in EV mode and looked at the trip odo when the battery ran out of juice. We got 25 miles. Twice.
