I could use some help On my 2004 Toyota gen 2 Prius , it will not start , 3 months ago i had the Hybrid battery rebuilt , then i had the Gauge cluster rebuilt , 2 weeks ago i Replaced the Hybrid synergy Pump on my 2004 Prius , now it wont start ,, Help ,
What do you mean by it won’t start? No READY? Can you turn it to ACC or IGN-ON? Can you turn on the headlights? If nothing works you likely just have a bad/empty 12V battery.
sorry yeah it wont go into Ignition mode ,to start i have checked every fuse i unpluged the white wire on the 12 volt deep cycle battery took it in had napa test it all good pulled the breaker on the hybrid battery to reset , no Acc ignition ugh ,,
Pulling the white stuff Steve talked about wasn't for the fault you're complaining about. Its for conservatively determining the state of health(SOH) of a Prius HV battery. Disconnnecting the white plug was only going to clear the SOC recorded on the battery ECU. If there isn't ACC on, you don't ha e any business tempering with the HV service plug. Its way too dangerous to meddle in there. In my opinion, yeah, you've got a fusible link at the hiid area, close to the inverter assembly. Pop the cover out, and check the fuses with a DVM set to continuity, while aux battery-ve is diaconnected, and do a continuity test. You can also use a test lamp as well. Check relays too. When you're done with the hood, ride on to the driver side kick panel. Check the fuses there too. Have you also checked the fuse on the positive battery terminal, whether its burnt? What you're facing kinda sounds like a loss of power problem. Dxta
okay i checked the battery fuse its fine . i checked the fuseable link no juice , i checked the flow on the hybrid synergy drive, the coolant is flowing fine , steady flow i checked all the fuses under the dash and in the car ,.far as i can tell they are fine ugh
