Howdy All Sadly the time has come to transition my poor Gen 2 to a new home. Hopefully someone out there needs a 'organ donor' and can use the parts. She has 275K miles on the engine and transmission, a replacement fender on the drivers side (deer strike) and the assortment of dings and dents one acquires driving 60+ miles each way to work. Currently the car has a master caution and warning light and will not remain in gear without power cycling the battery (12v) and from all indications it seems the transaxle is DOA. She has been a damn fine car, has decent tires, new brake shoes, a new inverter pump, as well as a new front wheel hub (drivers side). The Battery is original and has not given me any problems to date, seems to be working at 80-90% through I do mainly highway so city running might be a bit harsh. If you're interested and don't mind driving and trailering from the Va/WV area (google Winchester, Va) let me know. I would like to get 500 dollars for her, and see someone get some use out of the car besides a scrap yard.
What a deal, for someone.....Remember to start the car every few days, just so the HV battery won't go out of balance.
