This question of trunk space others have previously brought up continues to amaze me! I just finished playing a gig with the following on board: 3 guitars in cases, 2 mic stands with booms, 1 mic, 1 voice monitor amp, 3 guitar amps, 2 full-size large bar stools with backs, complete pedal board, case of 100 CDs, carrying case of 20 CDs, Charging Cable and extension, banner, glass holder, briefcase, extension plug-in box, crutch for damaged lead guitar player, jacket, performance clothes, tip jar, guitar stand, guitar cables, and 2 fat old musicians!! Now if that ain't enough trunk space, ya got me!! By the way, all that crap barely fit into a Ford Explorer II, so my Prime Advanced Truck is a FINE PRIME cargo hauler!! Oh yeah, the car has plenty of power in EV, HV, whatever mode; I just stay away from ECO mode 'cause it makes car too sluggish. I have only used POWER mode in last couple months with no noticeable negative impact on fuel economy. Also on longer trips, POWER mode seems to require less pressure for the sustained drive, resulting in less leg/back pain for this old guy!! .
These look like great rims. If I ever upgrade stock to 3rd party I would want to keep the same size tires and rims otherwise the EV range could get affected? True statement? I've always been a fan of dark gray rims. Can't tell they're dirty and they look great.
Unless your dealer is giving you discount, don't take 10 spoke alloy option when purchaing. That will cost you $899 as an dealer added option, and you won't get OEM wheels and hubcaps with your car. The MSRP for the optional 10 spoke wheel is $199/each. I think you will have to purchase center cap separate, but the if you look for them you can find the wheels as low as $154/each. 15" Wheel - Toyota (PT945-47160) | nashuatoyota
acceleration should be similar to your 2016, and snow performance as well. at 13 cents a kWh, it should cost you about a dollar for a full charge.
My dealer is including them, but how can I make them dark gray as in the pic on the red Prime I posted above? Where can I find the best center cap deal?
ebay seem to be the best price for center cap, but if dealer is including the optional wheel, I would ask them to include center cap with them. I don't know if there is different color/finish optional 10 spoke wheels out there. Having them refinish sound too expensive. I also like to have darker finish on my wheel, but I don't like painted wheels. I like this machined finish wheel at tire rack. Problemis that they only have two left for 15 inch though. I'm almost too afraid to mess with anything. Maybe it's best to leave the rims as they are and just have them add the center caps.

I don't mind the hubcaps to be honest but that's just cheesy and I'm always worried when and if they fall off. If I step to a 16-17" wheel and tire there goes my EV range.
I'm not sure they ever will now. Missus is adamant: we stick with 17" rims. I could use them for snows (when I replace), but that seems kinda sacrilegious. I just go down to the crawl space, and look at them, every once in a while.
You gotta do what the boss says. You don't want to end up on the couch over some rims. Does that mean there will be a new thread in the sales section soon?
Funny you should mention (we're horrifically off-topic, will get out of here soon): A few years back I did a mastic, tape and insulation job on the heat side of our central heating, and tape of the return side. Plus just a general fix-up, of the terrific bonehead clangers. I did kinda live down there, for at least a month. Our kids would come over, where's Dad? Missus would point down. They'd thump on the floor and say hi. About halfway through I got sick of the filth, dragged my wet-dry down there and vacuum'd it stem-to-stern, plus a general taping/sealing of the vapour barrier. It got quite homey down there...
