Two actually. We did not get heated mirrors on the gen2 even on the top of the range model.
This makes you wonder who makes these decisions at Toyota when they are fitted in Florida, but not in a country where the climate is prone to be damp, misty, or frosty. This makes the door mirrors more of an ornament than a functioning item. Fortunately this is a very easy add on.
However I still think we get the better deal with no thermos tank and all that it entails, and the dreaded bladder fuel tank, and all that that entails. This must make the UK versions somewhat lighter than it' US cousins by perhaps 40 to 50lbs. Plus we get rear rotor brakes "discs to us".

I wish I could get a non bladder fuel tank. that must be one of the stupidest things Toyota has come up with since the toyopet. even if it meant the check engine light stayed on I would swap the tank anyway.

 

I believe I read through most or all of the posts and didn't see how to open all doors by touching door handle instead of just the drivers door. Anyone have any info on this? Thanks

 

On the fob, press the lock and unlock buttons at the same time and hold for five seconds or so.
It may be different depending on your year and model.

Search the forums for unlock all doors, and you will find more info.

I don't know if either one of these work with EU models but they might be worth a try if you already have the equipment and apps for other reasons. I don't think I would buy anything hoping it might work for just the reverse beeper.

 

Cd recording has been stopped in my prius, Rec button has greyed. I've previously recorded many CD's onto it.
Would you help me in this regard.

One thing they mention is that the recording doesn't work for mp3 CDs. What format are you trying to record?

 

Guys any hack for speed limiter? JDM's cruise control is limited to 110km/h and doesn't work beyond that. Any hack to remove this limit? Its a 06 JDM Prius.
