Have you signed up at techinfo yet so you can refer to the manuals? When you go google-searching on a code you can turn up stuff like "replace inveter, check wiring , and hybrid control module", but when you need to know what that means to actually check and how (and chances are you will need to know that), the manuals are where you find out.

Also, once you're on techinfo, for another $40 I think ($55 instead of $15 for the basic two-day subscription), you can be signed in 'pro' and get a license key for the software, if I'm not mistaken.

Can't help you with the inverter though. The fob.. it sounds like a dead battery in the fob so maybe replace that. (That or the SKS is disabled for some reason).

There are some hybrid techs on the board and some mechanically inclined members. Hopefully they can help you out.

remove the traction battery take off the cover and look for rust spots in the case.. you might have a leaking cell causing a short to ground .. i had a cell leaking through the positive screw hole on the bottom causing a short but the codes pointed towards the inverter.. replaced it and the car has been fine for over a year now

I recently bought my 1st Camry hybrid, not starting, as well. I rebuilt the hybrid battery and charged the 12V for a week. It took forever to get the voltage up. When I tested it, it showed bad so I put my boat battery in the trunk and connected it with jumper cables. I can't remember the code that I got, but I had to put the original battery back in and plug the temp sensor in to make the car start. I thought this might be worth sharing.

On the fob situation, Prii of the era could have the SKS turned off to preserve the 12 volt when parked for extended periods. The switch to do so was in an out of the way location, like under the driver's seat. If the Camry has such a SKS shut off, it should be in the owner's manual.

Sounds like an aftermarket battery. Green Bean has a green cover. Google green bean battery and see if that looks like yours.

Toyota battery cases are bare metal. Might be Greentec refurb.
