new battery (12v) that was the first thing I did I got p3233 code & u0110 that pop up & toyota dealer says it needs new inverter ( $4800.00) I replaced with one from a working wrecked camry, the other part of code search ( p3233) states check wiring harness & hybird control module, ( which I replaced & did the relearning of module) still car will not go into "ready" mode to start the car . car has 86k on speed o. also have issues with 3 smart keys for the car & only 1 works if held up to start button ( new battery in smart key too) I will look here I guess for other hybirds on this site.

yes but, I looked & the only thing I could see that they attacked was some of the insulation under the hood that is the only thing I can see.

ok let me start with I bought this as a non-running Camry talked to folks that owned car last they said dealer stated car had these codes & needed new inverter ($4800) & new 12v battery ( I did the 12v new) I I bought a used inverter from a salvaged car ( it ran in the wrecked car) put that on the car no change, I read up on the p3233 code that says replace inveter, check wiring , and hybrid control module I replaced that still no go. the only other strange thing is that I got 3 smart keys with the car only 1 will work if you hold key up to start button that is the only way to get the car to recognize the key. ( the 2 other keys will work for it If take out the key part & works in the doors) any thoughts?

Not sure what to tell you about the inverter situation. But on the remote situation, try replacing the batteries in the remotes that don't function properly. If that doesn't fix the situation, the remotes could have been improperly programmed by an amature or tried with a used remote and didn't fully program. If the new batteries don't work, you may need to replace the remotes with brand new ones, not used.

yea, I am going to call another Toyota guy & ask about the key deal someone said the imoblizer in the car that talks to the key & the car might be bad too, don't know nothing about it will talk to locksmith too, I watch a video about a guy that did his own keys with lap top Toyota tech stream, I need to find a pirated version of it just to read codes. I did some research & folks tradin in this last year for problems of starting & key issues.

yea, I am finding that out as time goes on, I borrowed a friend of mine that has a garage I borrowed his $6,000 snap-on scanner & was finally able to pull codes up to fix my Prius ( grand son jumped car backwards) & pulled code up again on this Camry regular scanner would not show all codes his works just as good as Toyota tech stream well, close.

I bought one off of e-bay does not work worth a crap because I needed a "key" & password etc, from Toyota to get it to work won't pay the price Toyota wants I thought I bought "pirated" version but just got screwed on it from china.
