Hack for opening windows from outside?

    Not sure if this is the correct forum - if not please move

    Does anyone know if there's a hack (for a Gen 2) to get your windows to open if you hold down the unlock on the remote (or any other way, from outside of the car )? One of the only features I miss about my Passat . Hate getting into a hot car that's been baking all day (which mine does, every weekday) it would be great to let some outside air in before I get in :) TIA

    not that i recall reading about, sorry. i owner if an audio shop could do something aftermarket.

    I don't know if there is a way to do it without the Techstream software. But I'm pretty sure it can be done.

    I'm pretty sure that feature is not available on a Gen II. It would be handy though.

    Others advise for your situation: window tinting all round and sunshades for the front and rear windshields.
