Battery mileage

    it's an estimate, based on past performance. there's no real correlation between the battery icon and how many miles of ev you can drive. all things being equal, it is relatively accurate, but weather, speed, hills and etc. will all affect your actual.

    Related, I find that if I let the car sit overnight, or at work for 8 hours, the EV percentage remaining will go down on it's own. The drop is anywhere from 3% to 7%. Don't know if that's real, or the car's firmware is calculating incorrectly based on the dozen factors that go into that number. Conversely, it has never yet estimated a higher percentage. I really hope it isn't electrons escaping into the night on their own. (I need a funny image of that)
