I've decided I'm going to wait until the '18 comes out. I think a few changes are due, and I'm hopeful Toyota's gotten the message.
I'm waiting for the next generation. Not holding my breath though, no great expectations. If it was looks only, I might go with VW Golf SportsWagen. No kidding.
The 2018 Camry gets the hybrid system based on the Gen 4 Prius but with a larger engine since the car is heavier. The hybrids Camry LE is supposed to get the same EPA gas mileage as the Gen 4 Prius. I doubt the dealer would make it worth your while to ride in your paid off 2016 Prius though,
Mine came with those black covers for the white console tray and shifter. I actually asked for the white/gray interior to match the porcelain white. I don't care so much. I can take them off if I get ambitious. I did buy an inductive charger for my ultra cheap android phone. It works. If I had cell service where I live, I'd get an iPhone and get an inductive charger for it. What I'd like to see is the surround camera system available in the Rav4. That's my only complaint. Since I'm not a good enough driver to slot my car evenly in a parking spot, I'd really like to see how much space I have on each side when I get it in there.
I was just joking with bisco. I'm keeping the Prius until it falls apart... Or I do! (I gotta get my money's worth out of that Limo Tint )
That's interesting Mendel. Is there a thread somewhere that asks, "What would you buy if you weren't buying a Prius (or any hybrid?") I would probably like one of the smaller SUVs. Something that sits a little higher, and is easier to get in and out of. But not a big gas hog. (A vehicle that people won't tailgate! )
I am afraid they will interpret the message incorrectly. They cannot make enough Primes so they will stick the ugly black grill treatment on the Liftback.
I really think the style is cool and unique. Problem is, the rear seat is smaller than the 3rd gen Prius. Too small for me with my two kiddos.
I saw a C-HR this morning on my way to work. This is the one that US isn't getting a hybrid version of, but it is cute and fairly small. It looked smaller in size than what I believe the Lexus UX and the RAV4 are. Side view, didn't see grille. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Yes, quite small. No, we don't get the Hybrid version either - not sure who does. The C-HR is ... I just don't know. A friend bought one, but it's just him, maybe a girlfriend. But, the back seat is hopeless, the C Pillar/back of back door pillar is so wide and so forward, there is NO vision out for passengers. Grandchildren would need vomit bags!! But, then, children couldn't get in - not with the placement of the door handle, so high they can't reach it - plus the handle is very flimsy feeling.:
