Please post your total miles, and lifetime mpg. If litres, please convert. Prius purchased 3/17/2006 Black #8. Total miles 2592 Total gallons 55.6 Lifetime MPG 46.55
At 4979 miles I had used 110.48 gallons for a calculated MPG of 45.1. Now the car is up to 9k miles and the MPG looks about the same, maybe a tad higher. When I hit 10k it will be time to enter all the numbes into my spreadsheet and run the "offocial" calcs.
Prius purchased 2/8/06 Black #8. No idea how many gallons as I'm far too lazy to add them all up, but over the course of ~16 tanks I'm averaging 46.7mpg with a little over 4900 miles on the odometer. My current tank looks like it might become my highest yet, I'm about 160 miles into it and am already at 50.2mpg in normal, everyday driving. My car goes into Toyota tomorrow for its 5K mile servicing.
Got the car middle of January 06. Here's what I've got so far. lifetime calculated MPG: 45.85 mpg lifetime average of trip computer readings: 46.47 mpg I'm a little past 6.5K miles.
Since December 8th, I have put 18,890 miles on my car, average about 45.6mpg at an average moving speed of 68mph.
3938 miles at 43.2 (2006 Prius) 11193 miles at 47.3 (2005 Prius) The winter here is tough on mileage.

I have no idea. Just not that obsessive. There's something like 10,000 miles on the car. No tank below 45, got as high as 52 once. I've been averaging around 47-48.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Godiva @ Jul 5 2006, 11:44 AM) </div> You could just do what other vehicle drivers do, "well it's rated at 55 - 60 so regardless of climate, driving stye, and terrain I must be averaging somewhere in there." B)
