The speed of the reconditioning is key. Pro's don't spend 4+ days to turn around a pack

It will charge an entire pack from empty to full in just over 2 hours. When paired with our pro discharger the pair will enable a full battery rebuild (including module IR & capacity testing) in 1-1.5 days. Not too bad ;)

Just for fun here is a photo of a special ordered Toyota Prius 5.5A PHEV charger that we are delivering next week. It will charge the hybrid battery from vehicle empty to vehicle full in just over 30 minutes:

The competition should be worried. You're gonna have to make a charger discharger in 1 unit, so it'll be fully automatic from start to finish.

Shops can charge up your hv battery while doing your 30 minute oil change. Pay for a harness and get free lifetime battery tune ups, free with oil change. Talk about repeat business generator

I just filled up this morning. Here are my findings from my second tank of gas since reconditioning on 5/15/17:

Miles driven on the full tank of gas: 373
    Tire pressure: 38/36
Previous tank MPG: 43.1 mpg per MFD/40.7 mpg per Fuelly.
Current tank MPG: 44.2 mpg per MFD/45.0 mpg per Fuelly.

This is the best tank of gas since purchasing my Prius back in February 2017! I do not hypermill and just drive the Prius like a regular car. Since it has been warmer in Seattle, I have been using more A/C. What I notice is that the battery bars go down faster while using the A/C and being stuck in some traffic. I think the mpg would've been a little higher if I drove more on the highway. My 95 mile round-trip for a meeting got me up to 48.1 mpg. I am still happy to see 45 mpg! I hope to continue to see better mpg with more fill ups! I will update again soon!

As soon as we get the Pro Charger & Discharger/module tester released in August/Sept, we are starting development of a third box that will tie everything together and enable before after data logging (like a wheel alignment report). The BT chips and software hooks are already in the current Pro charger/discharger so they will all be forward compatible with this future product.

By next spring/summer, we plan to merge everything into a single box for a true one touch battery reconditioning system.

Does it have to sit for days or the recharge? Or just overnight???

I didn't drive my Prius during the whole process. I have another car that I can drive. If you are planning on reconditioning your battery, find time where you will not need your Prius.

To do the full regime you will need to have the car sitting out of action for a minimum of 3 days.

But, you can do a regime where you do one cycle a night for three nights and continue using the car during the day. It's a bit harder to do to ensure you get the top balance done each time, and probably won't work if you want an early start each day, I don't think you will have enough time.

I think it depends a lot on the condition of the battery. My four charge sessions alone were 24, 17.5, 19.5 and 31.5 hours. I was fortunate to schedule it at a time I had no driving plans. I had access to my wife's Yaris as needed too.

Got my auto discharger today, man that thing produces a lot of heat, can't think of using it in closed quarters.

Made my 100 degree day even hotter lol

I have a couple that I'm always playing with. For people that have failures and not much money. I give them a enthusiast discount to get them back on the road, then I play with the pack I get back from them.

I've gotten the discharge with the light bulbs down to a science. I worked it into a schedule that doesn't interfere with my wife's and kid's times.

Takes about a week to finish a pack, sometimes longer. But I don't have many customers lol
