My trip to town 27 miles is non stop with a few up and down grades
I usually have ECO and Cruise control on with no air running my screen MPG from Start usually finishes up on 62/63 MPG.
To day I drove in with no Cruise or ECO on and both front windows open
kept my average speed at 52-55mph usually I have cruise on at 55mph
when I stopped my screen was showing 74 MPG
I know the monitor is slightly high compared to actual gallons replaced but this seems a remarkable difference

CC is a great convenience but, as you see, you won't get your best mileage when using it.

I believe your not using the cruise made some of the difference in MPG. Try doing it more days and see what results you get.

I tried same thing today no noticeable wind and 68mpg showing we have real hot weather at present would that make a difference I used to think that cold air was best for car performance.
