What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

Can you post a picture of you behind a car? I'm curious what you see

 

I'll do that when I'm out driving again dude, it works really well where it's curves, I'm not at home right now and my car is parked a few blocks away, lol. I'll post it when I go to the car again, no problem.

 

I want to do something like this just so I can see where the curbs are when parking. Do you have links to where you bought the components?

 

If u can wait to tomorrow I can see if I can find everything? I'll make a list from eBay or some so u can see the parts and stuff

 

I see this really useful if your car is lowered and you don't want to hit a parking curb

 

My car has been a taxi, and by a unknown reason it is lowered, but yea... The curbs in Norway r so fuckin huge... So it's really useful here.

I don't really recommend this camera, since u have to drill a hole for it in the front bumper. But yea, if u want to use it here u go. Mine just got strong double sided tape.

Flat Fuse Holder for the Prius fuses (this is the one that definitely fits the fuse box, other versions might not).

Also find two 10A fuses (one extra for the camera in the engine room fuse box and another extra for the one in the interior fuse box).

Some black and red wires.

Wire cutters

Wire rings that fits the bolts/screws in the car (both of the bolts for the negative wires in the engine room and interior is the same size)

 

Watched the video. Kinda cool. I could see myself maybe doing this when I'm running out of stuff do it. Need to get two more major mods out the way. 19 inch multi piece wheels are big brake it after I finish my stereo install

And right after left to get my custom sub box installed from JJ's audio in LA w/ JL 10w3v3 and Audio bahn amp

 

Last weekend I cleaned my headlights, taillights and turn indicators. The headlights' coating (lacquer maybe?) was starting to mat over the sidelight bulbs. Didn't have any polishing paste at the moment, so I used an old car wax I'm very happy with the results, the turn indicators don't look very different on photo, but they're so clearer...
