Car only came with one key so I searched around for anyone who said they had done this and didn't find proof, I thought I should post that it's woking fine with a new OEM key and the mini VCI that I got from eBay. Same procedure as some videos on the gen 3 cars. Also setup stuff like the remote window down and all doors unlocking with touching the handle.

Thanks, it was a repo so I guess they had to make a new key for it, the blade in it wasn't cut at first. Nav SD was missing but got the dealer to give me one of those, still need the little door that covers it. Don't have a cargo cover, did they all come with one?

Yes, there is a spot for a beam in the styrofoam blocks, but no cover.

    Welcome.

I believe your car had the foldable cover that had a wire frame around the edge and comes in a storage bag. There are two hinge mounts behind the rear seat. The hatch end fastens with strings to the hatch and the car so it raises up when the hatch is opened.

the 'visual tables' sticky thread in the gen 4 main forum shows which package gets which cover. looks like they all get one standard, and the 2 gets the 'one piece foldable fabric'.

    I must have misread then.
To be sure behind the back seat does the car have the hooks for the foldable cover or the sockets for the rollup one?

EDIT I looked again. The way I read the table the 3T and below have the foldable cover. The OP has a 2016 3T.
