Don't think I buy these numbers:

I've definitely been cranking out lots of EV-mode miles, but I doubt I'm anywhere 999.9MPG, having only ~240 on the ol' ODO.

If you mostly use EV and not the ICE, then those look legit. The eco driving score, I've only had 100 once.(y)

How the hell did you get a 100 on your drive score? I don't think I've ever gotten above an 95!!

I have gotten 100 a few times and 99 several times. This is what I got with it raining on the way home from work.

    Well, lessee... first-order estimation here:

It's probably about 10ish miles from the dealer to our house, and 12ish miles I drove in HV yesterday to the mall down south (no charger there, so I did the >55 portion of that trip in HV). So somewhere around 22ish miles in HV mode, and the remaining 218ish in EV mode.

So somewhere on the order of 4/10 gallon burned over 240ish miles driven. So, something like 600Mpg?

Yes, but some of those HV miles were 999.9 mpg when you were using the HV portion of the battery. (y)

If you look at your odo it will tell you the mpg's for your total distance driven. I use my trip meters (3) to see my trip mpg's, tank mpg's and daily mpg's

Weird, eh? If you're gonna have four digits, then why not 999.9?

Maybe it's not as unrealistic as it initially seemed. First, I have more miles on the ODO than I thought - a little over 300 now, again almost all of those are EV. Also, they do break it down for me, and that breakdown seems plausible:

Also, those daily "999.9"s are actually much higher than 999.9; loosely speaking, they are infinities (not really infinity, of course, but "way up there" at least).

To get a more accurate account of gas used and not counting all the miles driven in HV mode, see the miles to empty you have used verses your total miles driven. That might give you a more precise mpg calculation.

Your get 999.9 when you don't use any gasoline, so mpg is not meaningful. Divide-by-zero in math-speak.
