    My dealer called me last week and said my prime was coming in the 18th-22nd of this month. I sold my baby 2005 Prius on the 19th(the same day a couple hours after I posted it on Craigslist lol). I got called yesterday and he said"it looks like it'll be Monday before it gets here". It's like the 4 month wait all packed into one day. I just want to sleep the day away so tomorrow gets here sooner.
    This is the first new-new car I've ever purchased and I'm going to own it there day I get it. My parents always said "you can't afford to buy it if you don't have the cash" so that's what I did.

    Just curious does anyone have any nice pictures of the blue magnetism premium with white interior? Or the blue with tinted windows? The pictures on Google of the blue range from like teal green to sky blue.

    Lucky you! We can't get them here in Ontario, Canada till next year. Well even next year isn't guaranteed.

    From what I can tell, it's *mostly* a deep-blue-sky sort of color... but it DOES sort of vary a lot, depending on overall lighting conditions, angle of the sunlight, etc. Here's a link to about a ten minute video showing the Prime in "Blue Magnetism" and the "Moonstone" interior (is that what you mean when saying white?). In any event, that's the exterior/interior combo I requested when placing the "special order" for our Prime Premium. I hope this helps....

    That's good advice. If you have to finance a car you shouldn't have bought it, you should have bought a much cheaper used car instead.

    We'll have to agree to disagree on this as I've used 'bridge loans' many times in the past. Stock trades do not happen as fast as a short-term bank loan. But it is based on having the money, just squirreled away where it takes time to get it.

    Monday I'll call Vanguard and point out I am no longer an employee and ask what we need to do next. At the same time, I'll ask if the 'new' business relationship means the former SAIC ban on using 401k as capital for cheap loans is now gone. SAIC put a restriction limiting use of 401k to just home purchase ... jerks!

    Congrats to you! If you don't mind being asked which area dealer did you order from? We ordered a Blue Magnetism Advanced on March 25 from Rohrich and were told 6 to 8 weeks. It's been 8 weeks now and we still don't have an estimated arrival date (though it's been allocated and being built). Did your dealer tell you 4 months when you ordered initially?

    The Toyota up in Butler. I think it's diehl Toyota. I avoided the other big places since they didn't seem to care too much about taking care of my order.

    I called in today and they said it would not be in. I got a 'maaaaybe tomorrow. The time frame they give us is just an estimate'. Ugh

    I waited 6 months, and when it finally "came in" it took 11 days to get it from my dealer.
