Got myself a Prime Advanced. Never thought I would officially nerd out and create a prius chat user id, but I'm here. I'm officially a Prime Nerd haha. I love the charge point card and have been using it frequently. Anyone else have EV station cards they recommend for the LA area? I also know there is EvGo and TellusPower.
Thanks All! I also got my windows tinted and that makes a major difference with the Glare from that large touch screen. Now that I have the windows tinted, the glare is gone!
I think I'll do that with mine, when it gets here. Was due this week but now Toyota is telling me it will be next week. I guess it is worth the wait- ordered March 6th so I've already been waiting quite awhile. I had to put a little more gas in my Prius C that I'll be trading in. I am definitely not going to trade in a car with a near full gas tank again!
haha, yeah, get your full tanks worth! You will love the Prime! But I definitely recommend getting the windows tinted. A, it makes it look cooler, and B, it in fact does keep the interior cooler heat wise, and C, it helps with the glare a ton! I had the Solar Package on my old prius and I will admit, I miss that feature so much! I took it for granted. But the remote climate control is a nice option, but not as nice as the solar package.
Yeah, I'm going to my tint place on Monday. After it hit 100° today on the Jersey Shore, it is needed. Also getting a sun shade for the windshield (funny it is still called that). I can't do the front windows legally, so just doing all the back windows.
