Hi! i absolutely love the 2016 Prius, but cannot see out of the back window cause of that fin. So, want to get some info if i can take that off and the wind shield wiper without damaging the vehicle/ Also, if someone could help me out on how to add a new huge wind shield wiper that'd be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

Hi and welcome to Prius Chat.

Just give it a while and perhaps you won't worry so much about the rear spoiler. We know it it looks bad at first, but when you're used to it you'll find it ain't so bad after all and often blocks off the bright headlamps of tailgaters.

Sorry, can't help with the large wiper question.

Thank you for that. Don't know why mine didn't work out that way.

Apparently Tapatalk hijacked it to promote their app. I use a web browser.

It is not one piece of glass, it is two. So even if you take off the spoiler, you will have a bar of metal, both pieces of glass seal to.
My best advice from owning a gen 2, adjust the rear view mirror up or down so you can see what you need to.

Or use both side mirrors and the camera, which I do in my v when it is loaded to the roofline.

In UK it's often attributed to Sods Law, which states that things will invariably go wrong when there is the slightest opportunity to cause annoyance, embarrassment, calamity, or pain.

An alternative might be to adjust your seating position a bit.....higher or lower if possible, to minimize the annoyance of the wing.

When accessing PriusChat on my iPhone I just use the built-in browser (Safari), no extra app. And it works great: the formatting is "phone friendly", yet very faithful to the desktop format. I would drop-kick TapaTalk.
