How to remove or replace the rear spoiler?

    I was looking at the JDM rear spoilers for our Prius C, but I couldn't really find any information on how to remove or replace the spoiler itself. Any writeups on how it's done? Is it a difficult job?

    no, just a few bolts and screws.

    Any idea where I can buy a JDM spoiler? I used to buy parts for my Yaris from Garm at micro image for years, but seems he got out of the business.

    4 bolts (If I remember) - 2 bolts are readily available and visible on each side of the ends, and the other 2 are covered by the circular rubber gaskets... also when putting bolts back in...don't use a wrench, or just don't over-torgue...I broke off a screw by overtorque'ing and had to do some really creative reverse drill screw removal.

    then you just got to pop out the plastic tabs and off comes the spoiler (just becareful to not tear off the light harness

    ALSO

    I traded in one of my C...and took off my JDM spoiler before trading it off...so I do have a "super white" JDM spoiler sitting in my basement

    btw, I don't know if you had any parts on your yaris, but a lot of them crossover onto the prius C

    I had a 2008 which was the prior body style, I think some are interchangeable but I don't know f I have any of those bits.

    I'm looking for the Sparkling Sea Metallic JDM spoiler, if
    You know anyone with it

    I have the Spec spoiler on mine. I have noticed a very very slight difference in MPG from it. The biggest thing that I noticed is that the rear window does not get anywhere near as dirty anymore.

    This is what I want!!! My rear window is filthy after any rain!!! Where did u get this??? Do u have a body kit also???

    I bought it from Garm's shop while he was still active and running. He has since then closed his store.

    I do not have a body kit.
