    I'd keep rolling the dice.

Paid-for cars just ride differently than bank-owned cars. :D

IMO, yes it will affect battery performance/life. Here's my experience: My P0A080 fault code and battery rebuild | PriusChat

Yes, very much. It's much more car than our 2006 Prius which is an older generation hybrid so that's to be expected.

Yes, much less. Better build plus noise cancellation audio technology. Tires (especially cheap ones) and road construction are the two prominent causes of road noise.

Very true about the tires......I had replaced mine first with ones whcih were not acceptable to me?then replaced with Michelin... But still noice exists..do not think the 2008 had much noise cancellation....sadly

I found Kumho's to be the quietest tire on this car. They don't wear well at all but there a cheap tire. Like a Solus 22. Really nice.

I got talked into GoodYear Assurance last time and regret it.

    Bad move!

    1. It's not 'their money at zero percent.'
Nearly every "teaser rate" is in lieu of rebates that amount to more than 2 percent of the value of the car.
So.....even if you over pay for a Prius and spend $30,000 for one, forgoing a $1500 rebate means that you're giving up five percent of the value of the car to save...what? A point and a half of interest? Two points?
If you borrow 30K for five years (two bad practices rolled into one loan) and you have good credit, then you ought to be able to get the car financed for 2 percent or less. If my math is right, financing that amount for the full term of the loan will result in about $1500 worth of interest payments, but most rebates are running over $2k.
In short......the teaser rates are a aimed at people who aren't very good at math and finance.

    2. New car itches can also cost you a lot of interest by keeping you in the habit of a lifetime of making car payments instead of paying off your house early.....or saving for retirement....or any of the other buzz-kill things you can be doing with your money instead of ever-so-briefly driving the newest car on the block.
    Yeah.....it's fun!
However, if you HAVE to scratch that new car itch a Prius is a good car to scratch it with.
Just try to borrow less money for a shorter time period instead of falling for some car company's gimmick.
ALL FINANCIAL experts agree that you will get your best deal if you get pre-approved for a car loan before you ever set foot on the lot.
Selling your current car privately (like.....on this forum!) can save you thousands before you even darken a dealer's doorstep.

    ;)

Actually, I would NOT give up incentives to have 0% interest...EVER! Despise car payments anyway.....

I just read a report on the future of various Ford vehicles......the CMAX will be discontinued; also, the hybrid and energi engines will be expanded onto current vehicles, such as Escape, soooooo

i wonder if the c max is being replaced with something a little different? it's about time they brought back the escape hybrid.
