We just purchased a 2017 new Prius Two with only one option, the blizzard pearl paint. Sticker price was $25,970 and we paid $20,982 plus tax and dealer processing fee of $699. Autonation Toyota in Ft Myers, Fl was heavily discounting them.

We are delighted with the car.

Sounds like a very good deal, I paid about the same price for my 2011 Prius 2. way back in the day, so you did fine, ENJOY!

    Congratulations!
Your car sounds like mine I got back in October.
    Enjoy your new, economical ride.

For comparison (with only a $500 rebate) I paid $23676 plus tax & $545 processing fee. This was about $2000 less than dealing with my local dealer. Driving 150 miles was worth that. My salesman still drives a Gen 1 Prius.

Would love to hear what kind of deals other folks are getting this month. From what I hear in the news, 2016/17 Prius is not selling well, so deals should be available. But my local dealers only have a handful (5 or 6) of them in stock, and they are all loaded up with extra dealer fees, such as paint/fabric protection and nitrogen-filled tires. I'd like to know what the dealer paid, and then work up from there, giving them a reasonable - not exorbitant - profit.

Oh - I see at there's a forum for that - under the PriusChat Marketplace section of the site.
