Will Prius Prime have a spare tire?

I don't think any US plug-ins have a spare, unless there has been a change. Somebody said Leaf in Australia has one.

nope. but you can stow one on top of the battery in the hatch. there should be enough clearance between the battery and the hatch window. that's about all the will fit.

I thought all you people were in your 20's or 30's. Now I find out that most of us are in our 60's? Gads.

THE 2 major problems with the Prime are: No spare donut tire and a very small trunk. Other than those two very serious deficiencys........it's a great car.

I still like the idea of those collapsible spare tires...If I had a PiP I might look into it.
I don't think there is room for it in Prime. I thought I saw one on-line with 5-holes like Toyota but not sure its compatible.

@bisco! @Mendel Leisk! You guys are nuts!! I guess that's why I feel at home here. :ROFLMAO: That and I'm coming up on 64 myself.

I hadn't heard of those. I did a quick search and only found ones for Porche & Audi. No idea if they would be compatible. Some are REALLY pricey. But it's an interesting idea. What I want is one I can roll up and drop into the slot under the deck in my PiP. LOL!

Does anyone have any experience using a spare from a Carolla? I think I've read that it will work even with a 16" wheel size.
