To each their own of course. He's been made aware and tagged, but after 800+ posts......

I'm not saying it is not frustrating, I understand how ya'll feel. But even I gave up at some point and just make due, doing what I can, with the various moderating problems I've reported or moderating questions I've asked.

I recall one time at my work (drafting with autocad), any time you saved you had a 50/50 chance the file backed up to the server would be corrupt. For weeks on end we did double-saves, to the server and to local hard drive. FINALLY, someone took a look at the server: a corner of ribbon cable was pinched at a case seam.

Draughtsman, eh? I remember when I left school to become a trainee metallurgist, my mum only wanted two jobs for me. A jig and tool draftsman, or prime minister! I don't remember the order of preference and like then can't say I really care.

Maybe when you make your trek north from your southern respite, you could swing by Charlotte and offer your services;).

Maybe @Danny has been waiting for the highest volume poster to stop by and buy him a beer:whistle:.

    No. Whole different matter.
I don't remember being notified of those. I will have to have a look.

Edit: Odd that when I look at my OWN profile page I don't see anything about warnings.
Not even the tab that you apparently can see.

"Warnings" are pretty ineffective if the offending user is not notified.......AND if he can't see the current tally either.

I will tell you more.....IF you ask in a PM. Not going to air my dirty laundry in public.

I am again experiencing website problems to the extent that the site is almost unusable.

I get "unexpected database error", very slow, or no response, every few minutes, and this keeps happening over the past week or so.

    1. How can I report this on Priuschat so that it gets looked at and fixed quickly?

    2. Is there an underlying problem that keeps coming back and needs more thorough fixing than it has received so far? That would be by guess from this experience.

Posting Status updates about problems that people are experiencing can SAVE a LOT of time.

Just put site status updates and explanations in a prominent place on the site and it could deflect a mountain of complaints and enquires, saving staff time and user frustration.

This is normal common good practice in the world of IT related Service Support in the business world.

Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.

Posting status updates on a site that will not render properly, especially on phones, will not accomplish anything to those that cannot read it. That would only work if they took the site down and replaced it with a static html page. That is what is done at work when the web server farm has major issues.

I found an interesting symptom this morning as the site was acting up.
Pasting PriusChat links showed the full link text instead of the page title. It was an html link, but the text was not as expected.

EDIT: After the site problems diminished, editing a post restored the correct link text. No changes, just edit & save,
