There's a gazillion Priuses here in the Fremont area. Every other car. Either Prius or Tesla

Yeah, this past weekend was quite the eye opener for me hanging out with @Raytheeagle both for changing out my spark plugs and installing a grid charger in his Prius. We lucked out and got fantastic weather after the constant downpour as of late. I'd be down for other install/maintenance meet ups.

We even made sure your heart skipped a beat too;)!! Luckily the shake of the engine was the electrical connection.

Hope the Prius is running good for the wife and she's driving it nice and easy(y).

I'd love to do it at my house, I have plenty of tools but only a two car garage. We might be able to have four cars total

My weekends are slammed through mid March, but available after that. Only job I have been putting off is a brake flush flush, so I'll have one thing to do;).

"Someone" told me I should do a transaxle fluid change. I don't think it's necessary but good friends, good experience, good conversation, good root beer and I'll do the change. March 18 or 25 is good for me pending what my unborn child has in mind. I have a shared driveway so won't be able to host.

Later March is good. I can host four cars if we work on them two at a time.

I have all the stuff for that, you'd just need to bring the fluid and the washers. (I forget if it's one washer or two.)

2 (one for the drain and one for the fill plug ;)).

In addition to a brake fluid flush, an oil change will be due.

So pencil me in for those 2 jobs(y).

What about the 25th or 26th? Sunday's are usually best for me so my vote would be for Sunday the 26th.

Just trying to get on the calendar before the weekend plans are made for me;).

That weekend is the 25-26. I'm invited to a wedding on the 26th, so I'm only available that weekend on Saturday, March 25th.

Sorry for the dates. My iPhone jumped to 2018 for some reason .

I'll pencil in the 25th on the calendar(y).

    Wedding on a Sunday?

Can't believe it took so long to find this thread.

Would love to join in on the 25th if space permits.

There should be room:). If we run out of maintenance spots, I'll execute my oil change at home and give the spot to someone else.

What maintenance were you looking to have done, or just up for a meet and greet?

I see also you were inquiring about the Hybrid Automotive Charger and discharger. Guess who has the Charger and is waiting patiently for the intelligent discharger to arrive:whistle:....

I could bring the Charger with me on the 25th and we could chat;).

    See you on the 25th(y).

Was thinking of doing the brake fluid flush since there is already one on deck for the same.

Then If times permits maybe checking on the E-brake and why it doesn't appear to self adjust, might need a little cleaning and or some grease on the backing plate(s).

And if things change a meet and greet would also work.

Unfortunately your brake flush on the gen 2 needs techstream(gen3 has "invalid mode" so you get around the techstream need). I think @Rebound has it, and I have it loaded on a laptop, but have not tried using it. I was planning on bringing it though, and picking rebound's brain a bit;).

I'll bring the Prolong Charger also for discussion(y).

Wow, I would love to join you guys. I might want to change my transmission fluid and spark plugs. I have 2014 Prius plug in with 60k miles.

It's a little early on the spark plugs (120k mile change interval). Especially on a PIP. What's your lifetime %EV?

Will bring the old laptop (with techstream) just in case. No worries either way, as I'm sure there are other pressing issues that also need attention.

Can't wait to check out your intelligent charger and fancy discharger :)

There is a full case of WS available, which can be brought down if needed.
