Anyone have a light tick .......

    since it's only a couple weeks old I've noticed a very light tick on the right side in the morning,however by the minute I pass the first block it's gone and running great anyone else? What would I need to do to stop the check without doing major repairs

    sounds like it takes a minute for the oil to get to the valve lifters.

    I call it the cold warm up sound.

    Yup! And that's on a Gen II stone cold engine in winter - onlyIF I push it though. I tend not to do that until the engine warms up - then the sound completely disappears.

    I agree with bisco, t'is indeed the valve lifters craving warmed up lubricant.

    I hear it in it I hear it even in 70° weather so I guess it's just wanting some oil I did buy it from a Honda dealer and you know they're kind of idiots, so I'll go get the oil changed see if that helps any
