I wonder if they (Toyota) will be having a February incentive program.

Here's the January one. Sorry for the blurry image.

^ Great info! Especially for the customers who visit dealers who then claim to know nothing about any rebates or sales incentives. Any way to keep current with those?

Drove my Prime home last night.
Premium, Blue Magnetism with Black Interior
From Hoselton Auto Mall, Joseph Monkelbaan
    SUPER easy sale.
I contacted them and my 2012 Prius PIP Dealer, Dorschel, in December, but neither had the Blue.
Both said come back the end of January. Only Hoselton kept me informed when a Blue would arrive.
I checked all area Dealers to see if ANY had the Blue. On Tuesday I noticed Hoselton had one.
I went Wednesday AM, but it was in their delivery lot. I said I'd be back after work.
Got a call at noon that the car was ready for me to see.
I liked the Blue, but didn't like the Moonstone Interior. I put $2000 down on a Blue with Black Interior. They placed the order.
I thought it would take a week or 2.
Got a call the next day Thursday AM, they found a car 40 miles away and I could pick it up Friday at 3pm.
I put another $1000 down and was approved for the 0.9% Toyota Financing.

Total Price with $224 floor mats: $29,889
Hoselton 10 year, 100K Power Train warrenty: Free (other dealer doesn't have this)
    5year Tire & Wheel Protection: $399 (discounted $200)
Trade-In of my 2012 PIP with 57000 miles: less $9000 (other dealer was only giving me $8000)
    Dealer processing: $75
    Licence, Title, Registration: $70
Inspection Fee: $10 (they then include 10 free annual inspections)
Waste Tire Mgmt fee: $12.50 (strange fee for new car)
Sales tax 7.5% Ontario County: $1596.60
    Cash Deposit: less $3000
    Total Financed: $20,052.10
Total Finance Charge over 5 years: $461.30
Monthly Payment for 5 years: $341.89

Quick sale. I did it without the Auto-Broker that I used for other cars since I knew exactly what I wanted and there was no budging on the car price.

    Bisco,
    Bisco,
I can't find my old Sales Sheet, but I think it was about the same.
Yes, the NY State Tax Credit should be $7500, per the IRS pages -
Plug-In Electric Drive Vehicle Credit (IRC 30D)

$7500 would be the federal credit, not a state credit. And, that's only if you have at least a 16 kWh battery. The Prime qualifies for $4502 with its 8.8 kWh battery.

Looks like there's no New York credit for an electric or PHEV car:

Yeah apparently NYSERDA has up to a year to implement a $2,000 rebate from last year's budget so something should be in place by April of this year. Supposedly its a rebate direct to the buyer, but I'm not sure why it takes a year to implement such a program.

Premium Magnetic Gray Metallic with black interior. Dealer wouldn't give any additional discounts besides the $1000 cash back even though I didn't want the all weather mats... Purchased 1/1/17.

$30,038 List with all weather floor mats ($248) and door guards ($125).
    -$1000
    $29,038 + taxes, title, registration, etc... = $32022.78

Prime Advanced + dealer conveyance (negotiable but dealer wouldn't discount) + black lower console & rear seat console appliqué (my dealer didn't say it's an accessory and there was no separate fee for this one) + all weather floor/cargo liner (car also came with floor and cargo mat which I don't need) + destination charge = $33,682, plus sales tax & title/registration. No rebate in CT at the time I bought (also checked with Toyota)

Recently bought a blue Plus (Model 3) black interior,
28189 MSRP with carpeted floor and cargo mats
248 MSRP for All Weather floor and cargo mats provided for free by dealer
    -730 dealer discount
    -1000 Toyota rebate
-4502 Federal tax credit for 2017 taxes
300 dealer processing fee in Maryland
Zero tax credit in my state
22257 after Federal tax credit and before sales tax and license and plates.
I think this is how we should compare prices since we live in different states.

the dealer wanted 542 for handling my out of state taxes and title and tags (includes payment to my state)
the dealer at the same time was charging me too little for tax to my state
So I talked the dealer into not handling my tax payment incorrectly and therefore not charging me 542.
    My additional costs are:
95 to register title in my state
    101 for tags
    2013 state sales tax @7.25%
    15 for temporary Maryland tag
206 one way flight with tax. Difficult to buy a Prime in Midwest.

Dealer picked me up at the airport. Traction battery was fully charged and car was just washed and tank was full of gas. I waxed car in the delivery area as we agreed. Beautiful drive thru 2 states I have never seen MD and WV. 765 miles to home. The prime is so much better than the Gen 3's I've had.

I think $22257 is less than a discounted Prius model 2 ECO would cost me before tax, title, and tags.

Shhhuussshhhh!!! Too true and the Prime is already in short supply. Worse, we don't want to wake up the 'honorable competition' who may want to weight in completely oblivious to their 'glass house.

So what was your MPG and typical speed. Just one fuel up? <GRINS>

Thanks. I bought at White River Toyota in White River Jct, VT. I told them what I wanted, they located the vehicle and I drove it home this morning. I did have to push a bit, but in the end I thought I did well on the price (or they did well...) They're a good, honest dealer.

If anyone's going to contact them because of this post, PM me so I can give you the details on which sales person I used, and maybe claim a referral bonus.

Here is my "Sticker info", if I read this forum description wrong, please excuse me.

2017 Prius Prime Advanced (1239A) (AT)

Hypersonic Red (03T7) with Black (EA20)

    Vehicle Base Model $33,100.00

    Special Color (PC) $395.00

    Aero Side Splitter (B4) $299.00

    Alloy Wheel Locks (WL) $65.00

Carpet Floor Mats/Cargo Mat (CF) $224.00

    Illuminated Door Sills (G4) $299.00

Protection Package (Q2) - Rear Bumper

Appliqué (EF), Body Side Moldings (BM), Door

    Edge Guards (D5) $409.00

    Shifter Panel Applique (8A) $55.00

    Total Optional Equipment $1,746.00

    Delivery Processing and Handling $865.00

    Total MSRP of Vehicle $35,711

My ZIP code for delivery was 94621 - Dealer is One Toyota of Oakland and they usually have a "no-haggle" good discounted price... but for the Primes since they are in short supply (I had to make my deposit on Dec 8, car was built on the 12th and I finally took delivery Jan 24th!) I don't know why it spent so long at the port since it came in on Jan 5th, but anyway I have it now and it was worth the wait!
