Are you looking at the MID? The only other thing I see is the ability to turn off the MID in meter customize.

 

Heater is on Auto, 72F

My Prime Advanced has never started the ICE until the EV portion of the battery was depleted or I manually switched it to HV. That is in weather from 65 F a few days ago all the way down to 9 or 10 F. Mostly I am leaving from a garage that stays above freezing, but one morning it was at 28 F. It includes parking outside for an hour or two before starting the car to return home. The 9 or 10 F day it was parked outside for an hour.

I only have three weeks and 300 miles experience. Heater is on Auto, set to 72 F, have used both regular and Eco mode for the heater. Nearly 100% of the car's operation has been on EV. I just don't know what I am doing wrong.

Multi-information display. The display on the right of the one with the speedometer on it.

 

Just looked at mine. The HSI is two up from the "Drive monitor 1 display" ("From Start" is what I have set). It is dimmed but visible even in Park or Neutral and can be selected in Park or Neutral. It comes up to full brightness when Drive is selected. My HUD is on with the similar indicator and EV miles displayed. The car says it is 38 F in the garage. No ICE came on.

 

OK, it's working fine now, I could've sworn I tried it in drive, apparently I didn't have hsi selected when I was in drive

yes, but 49 outside is warmer than 38 inside a heated garage.
