got my 2017 prius 2, I looked at 2016 with TSS (safety) but few left and no significant discounts for 16's compared to 17. Happy with 2017 2 so far.
2017 Prius Four base model (shown in photo to left) with no extra packages purchased on 1.15.17. Dealer (Hendrix Toyota of Apex, NC) threw in free all weather floor mats with the leaf on them. $30,400. list with carpet floor mats and no tint or protection packages. Offered $25,000. cash, and dealer took it. No haggling. Out the door was $26,800. with 25-55K maint covered at $300., sales tax, dealer prep fee of $600. I doubt they would have taken less, but it was three days after a miserable ice/snow storm, and the dealer had been closed for a day or two of it. So I knew that they needed the sale. We bought our previous two Priis new from Hendrix, and wanted to use them again because at 3 miles from home, service is simple. Usually we buy a new car at 7pm on the last day of the dealer's year, but were not ready two weeks earlier to make the deal. Follow trends in the number of your first choice that they have in stock, and try to buy when their stock level is high. Ours is a huge dealer with way too many Prii on the lot most of the time. This car was less expensive than our 2012 and 2013 and drives so much better and safer. Prius prices vary all over the country; force the dealers to bid against each other. We used USAA buying service as a start, but it only offered $1,300. off. It did alert the dealers that we were serious and would watch them work against each other. And of course we did not have to buy a car that day, so we could have waited around a bit if they had not accepted our first offer. (Still weighing whether or not to tint the windows as it does hurt our night vision, which is declining each year. Would 50 per cent be a good compromise? Dealer said the price of the film is $100. but did not provide labor cost. Will look at other vendors first.) If you are buying a used Prius for a family member, remember that used prices have really fallen on much of the East Coast, but seem to be high in the Bay area of California where there is more demand. Our dealer offered only $7500. on our 2012 Three with 105K in great shape. We decided to pay $750. to ship it to our kids in San Jose after learning that used Prius prices were much higher out there....maybe as much as $5K. This may give you another reason to buy a new 2017 for yourself and sell your older model to a family member.
Priifan, thats a great deal better than mine. In NJ i had a tuff time to get to 4k off, few dealers were adamant on 2.5k off msrp and not budging in central nj. PA dealers are lot better to deal with negotiations. I had a trade which complicated things and got a pretty good deal. Best deals I got on the new 2017 prius 2 were 3400 off msrp on base no carpet etc.. i took the 4.1k off msrp for prius 2 but its blizzard pearl, molding package, floormats & wheel locks. I got similar deals on prius 3 also but was on a budget. Includes all rebates. I paid taxes after tradein, doc fee and registration. got a 4.6k off 2016 prius 3 touring(TSS-important feature for me) and dealer did not budge more than 4.6k off.. I turned down as its a bad deal.
Wow. I thought I did well buying my Two for $20,735 (in 2014; MSRP was, what, $24,200?). But you, my friend, got a screaming deal.
How do you like the car? I'm looking at a 2016 4 w/o the packages this weekend and they're asking $23,600. Any regrets on skipping the ATP / PCP?
Is this a good deal on a new 2017 prius two eco for a 36 month 12k mile lease. The 750 rebate is for a college grad rebate.
And by good deal I mean does anyone know if I can do better, has anyone seen a better deal than this? Credit score is a 720 and I live in the state of Georgia
Atlfalconfan02, I think the price for the vehicle only is good. What are the acquisition fee? and closing fee is there documentation fee?
The acquisition fee could be removed if it wasnt a lease and apparently I could get another 1500 in dealer cash. I dont know what the closing fee and documentation fee is
Can you show us any paperwork, thats an incredible deal I would love to try to get a dealership to match for my fiance
Atlfalconsfan02, There are other threads such as "I think I got a good deal on 2017 Prius Two" (you need to do some digging for other threads). One item to remember, you region dealer may not be willing to match prices outside state pricing and I do not think that showing prices from thread will be enough to substantiate in your part of the woods dealer to match whatever price you going to state. However, I suggest you use the information in this thread, true car, Costco and incentives to assemble your negotiation strategy. May be Prius One better in price range for you?

I just officially bought my first Prius this Monday. No money down I got a 2017 Prius Two Eco Black on Black out the door price of $21,756. MSRP was $26,450. Prius sales are down nationwide, its a great time to buy especially with the Kia Niro and Hyundai Ioniq hitting the streets, finally real competition for the Prius
So Toyota is offering a $2K pricing incentive now . Anyone else other than david4runner | PriusChat getting pricing on the expensive Prius Four Touring? The 2K should be on top of whatever discounts they are giving right?
