    Marble? Ball bearing?

I'm wondering if the car still has the object inside the bumper assembly or could it fall out?

    GOOD LUCK!

I don't plan on tearing it apart until I get it fixed and I'll leave that to the body shop professionals... :)

Let them know you'd like anything found ... and possibly inside photos of any hidden damage.

I thought about that, but I wonder if it is a BB pallet or something. It does not look like pebble from the road.

Where were you parked recently? Have you narrowed it down to a location, where it could have possibly been shot at? Maybe at a shopping center? You might go to your local police station and ask their opinion.

I hope that's not the case, but you never know. Lots of crazy Prius haters out there. Or maybe they were just shooting at various cars randomly, and picking out expensive new cars. Lots of vehicle windows have been shot out in several areas near my city.

Trying to think... car is either at my office in sight with really no way for it to be shot in the front... in my garage at home in Ladera Ranch with 0 chances of it getting shot... my few outings outside of that have been quick trips around the neighborhood or the 2-3 times its been parked at Disneyland... not a whole lot of options but i guess anything can happen... :)

You see the long cracks projecting away from the hole? If it is a bullet hole, it can't be a direct hit otherwise the bullet will penetrate right through. The crack shows the speed of the projectile is pretty slow but not slow enough to be stopped by the plastic fender. That's the reason why I say it is a ricochet. If it's a ricochet from a bullet bouncing off a concrete wall, usually it happens at a 20 degree angle along the wall.
