Apparently nobody has the LED in a cold climate and can speak to any icing problems. Enough with the opinions, is there nobody with actual experience?

We have operated through four winters with the 2012 v Five with LED headlamps and they create no issues. None.

Our 3rd gen LED's have headlight washer nozzles (Canadian Touring model, similar to US 5 (aka V).

As does the 2012 v Five. We rarely if ever use them. Not needed.

Yeah same here. I tried them once or twice to verify they worked, that's about it. I believe there have been icing up issues though. IIRC Wayne Gerdes was getting some ice up, test driving a 2016 Prius??

Gotta apologies btw, I see I'm seriously repeating myself, reading back through the thread.

No apologies necessary. People bringing up the same fallacious arguments.

Have washers on the 2012 - has the two-beam per side LED lights. Have to say I've never had occasion to use them for slush, etc. since the car rarely sees winter precip. Not sure they are worth much except for novelty purposes.

None on my US base Trim 2 2017 Liftback either. I do not think my son uses the ones on his 2015 Prius v.
