I have seen and observed talk about how the interior of the Prime Plus appears identical to the Gen 4 Prius with the notable exception of the missing 5th seat. Shouldn't WeatherTech floor liners for the Gen 4 fit the Prime, front and back?

I know the cargo liner from the Gen 4 won't fit, I'm more concerned about dirty shoes of the driver and passengers.

Weathertech only has front and hatch liners for the Gen4 Prius. No rear liners yet.

Toyota has rubber floor and cargo area mats as an accessory. Have you checked them out?

I asked my dealer about those but he said he would have to order them and I'll ask about them tomorrow when I pick up my Prime. My biggest concern with Toyota's is the cost, WeatherTech's prices are probably a lot more reasonable.

If I could swap the carpet mats for the all-weather ones I might and just pay the price difference I might but I doubt they'd let me do that.

If the floor liners are the same for the Gen 4 and Prime I will just get them through the PriusChat store.

I paid $151.75 for the Prius prime all weather floor mats, looks just like weather tech only with the Prime logo on them

I wasn't impressed with the fit of the Weather Tech mats I bought for another vehicle. I am guessing the Toyota ones will fit very well. I haven't seen the Toyota ones for the Prius but ones for other models seem very well designed.

I would bet the dealer makes a huge margin on the mats that seem to come with each car. Why they don't come standard is probably just part of the game.

Try to swap them; I think the all weather ones sell for less anyway. If that doesn't work ask about getting the sales persons discount for the all weather ones. Might save you a little and he is looking to have a happy buyer for his report card.

I ordered them and parts said they have a bunch of them but will take a week to get here as they are at the second higher level warehouse from them.

One other thing is the Weather Tech are make in the USA when they come out.

On edit: I received the Toyota all weather mats today and they are well fitting and have good upturned edges to keep wetness from escaping. Added bonus they are also made in the USA.

All the Primes available in Maryland when I was looking came with all-weather floor mats/cargo liner. I mean ALL the Primes. It was almost like they were standard equipment, except they added $248 to the MSRP.

I am considering pulling the trigger for ordering my Prime in the next two weeks. Two accessories I want are mats and the console appliqué. Both seem to be available for purchase on the web for substantially lower prices than through the dealer. Does a laser fit really make that much difference in a floor mat?

I have a set of all weather Prime liners for sale... PM me if anyone is interested... my car came with them and I wanted to carpet ones... not a whole lot of need for the all weathers here in So Cal... :)

And I'm open to what anyone would consider a fair offer! :)

The difference in the Weather Tech, and some other aftermarket mats, is that the mat goes up the floor walls farther than the manufacturer ones.

Thanks but standby on that, I may be interested depending on how the dealership pitches the all weather liners to me (eg replace the carpets and such...). It also may be better for someone on the west coast to get yours since I'm a good couple thousand miles away.

Also I am ordering the Toyota floor liners from the dealership, they offered those or WeatherTech ones but the Toyota ones (although not as deep as WeatherTech) cost 106.25 which I thought were not a bad deal.
