Hey, don't shoot the messenger, buddy! Just brought the latest review to the forum for appraisal.
Not saying my opinion counts for much, but it's mine and I'm just as entitled to it as you are to yours.
    Enough said. (y)

Think about gen-3 owners comparing Ioniq to gen-4, for that matter just comparing the two different generation Prius...

Most of the owners of Ioniq Hybrids so far seem to be in the UK and they are measuring against imperial gallons which are 1.2 US gallons so their MPG numbers should be higher than those of US drivers. 58UK=48.3US

Wait till there are a sufficient number of US versions reporting ... not to mention that those who bother to report in to fuelly are a self selecting bunch (me included).

    Unreasonable as per your reading.
    I specifically wrote "EPA looks".
Also there are lots of reviews and tests on the Ioniq and Niro, always consuming almost a liter more than 4Gen // C-HR.
Time will tell but I would rather pass your post, and assume you had a bad day.
But hey, things will get worse for you when we both realize FE with sustained data.

Now that the IONIQ is selling (some) in the USA, perhaps we'll see it get an honored forum under "Other cars" and we can back to news. <grins>

I will be looking for the rolldown coefficients along with the Prius Prime. These have always been a good source of vehicle performance metrics.

Calling it either way at this point is foolish.

Auto Express reckons Niro is more fuel efficient based on their test (59.6 vs. 57.8 MPG-UK)... although it's apple vs. orange comparison. It should be compared against the new C-HR.

Kia Niro SUV review | Auto Express

Not bad for a first goer... at this stage it looks like Toyota needs to do better in the very near future. Consumers are the winners at the end of the day.

Thank you. That Auto Express was the first review stating Kia with better FE than Prius I've seen.

I can't help getting back a few weeks into this digging (page 52 of this thread):

From this source here are the links

Same test requirements, cycles and measurements taken.

Perhaps you missed that on Fuelly you can choose whatever unit you may prefere, just look on the left upper area of every Fuelly page.
For your convenience, this is the result in Imperial Gallons from Fuelly page: 67.2 Imp mpg

I believe Fuelly defaults to US units.
