Hey everyone, so I finally decided I needed a new more practical car (more space/mpg/easier for others to drive) comming from a mazda miata. Decided after some research to purchase a 2013 Prius five.

So far I am loving the car which honestly surprised me a bit, it's quicker than I expected and handles well. Also my girlfriend loves it because she can finally fit in and drive the car if she needs to.

The only thing negative so far, which I'm kicking my self over because I didn't catch it before I bought it, is that on the passenger side of the windshield inside near the bottom is a group of scratches, almost like someone removed something with a knife. It isn't in line of sight or distracting (or I would have noticed sooner) but it is unfortunate.

Anyways, all in all so far loving the car, the HUD and adaptive cruise on the five are surprisingly nice to have, and apart from the windshield the car is blemish free.

I look forwards to learning more about the car and participating in this community!

Could these be diamond ring scratches, I wonder? Someone wearing such a ring while reaching for something in that area could result in unintentional scratch marks, like the door panel near the external handle.

Snowbirds? In Cornwall we get a similar influx in the summertime. The Cornish call them emits (ants), because they they stream in in long traffic queues on our two (yes, just two) main road routes. You may need to look at an atlas to see that Cornwall is the very end of the south west peninsula of UK, mainly surrounded by water and only bordering the neighbouring county, Devonshire to the east.

yes, and all us snowbirds probably drive the locals crazy, although we're in orlando, so it's mostly tourists.

Yes sir! We are more exposed to Atlantic storms and weather systems than London. Horizontal rain is not unusual here and any small trees that manage to grow on Bodmin Moor are deformed into a permanent downwind shape.

Could be from removing a sticker, etc. not very many people know how to use a razor blade correctly. Welcome to the forum!

Although the blade is sharp, the glass is harder than the mild steel and should not be affected by a razorblade.
