so I received a call from the dealer referred by the costco auto. The price they provided is very close to MSRP instead of the $ i built in the costco auto website. Also there is no discount in the access.. I will have to call costco to find out why....

Don't count on it. I will end up going back to my local dealer.

 

Did the dealer not tell you the dates for when it departed/arriving in port, etc?

No, Midwest dealer. Said they would put one on their allotment order in mid Nov.. So I figure they will just wait until they are available or get one from another dealership at some point. We are in "the land that time forgot" in the Midwest.

 

I thought you were further along in the process.

I had dealer look up next allotment. Found out that it was 5 days from departing Japan. Just made it to port last week. Should be cleared port this week.

If they can find out a production date, then you can eye ball the arrival date +/- a week or so.

I also tracked the vessel online.

 

That would be great. Like I said earlier, just an update would be nice from the dealership. I don't want to hound them so I have been playing it cool. Maybe I should send him a xmas card with a pic of a Prime on it. Or better yet...a Prime in place of a sled with Santa inside. Raindeer power. Only problem would be the limited hatchback space because of the battery.
