It's just a survey, I am not selling anything (yet).

Hello everyone, I am a proud founder of a start-up and we are working on fully electrical vehicles, but how we do it is the main part of the question, so basically we are making Prius fully electric (let's suppose any model of Prius) and it goes definetely more than Tesla on single charge and uses way less power than any EV so at the end it's transportation expenses are even less than other EV's and clearly less than Prius, and it costs only about 3000$ (this number is not accurate but it's unaccuracy is not big) and will take about a day to intall it in your car. So question is - would like to buy that product?? why would/won't you like to buy it??

This is not a sale offer, it is just a survey, for improving our product!!

With your current lack of description I'm naturally skeptical, would not be interested. Can you divulge a few details?

I think you'd need to explain the modification process as turning a hybrid into an EV is not simply an exercise in adding batteries, a charging system and a plug. Can you provide a bit more detail for your intended design? For example:
    • Do you remove the ICE and transaxle?
    • Do you remove the existing hybrid battery or augment it with additional capacity?
    • What is the expected capacity of the battery
    • What capacity are the electric motor(s) used?
    • What electronic control modules are removed/replaced?

I own a Prius due to favorable dependability of previous Toyotas. I do not own a Volt due to lack of dependability of previous Chevys. Your startup has no track record at all. In my case, this will be insurmountable.

You mean I would end up with a Prius Prime?
Toyota already offers this product and has just released their second generation of Plug-in Prius.
You obviously did not research your potential market & competition.

Trying to answer all the questions is not possible because the technology works but far from ideal, and due to lack of patents I can not describe the technology, we are now on testing phase so we are trying to experiment with different types of batteries and different capacitys, electric motor uses 4kw (of course we still experimenting so this number is unaccurate), about inserting - yes I understand how difficult it is to organize that but again this is just a theoretical survey and we will do our best to satisfy every needs of our costumers

At this point, I would not be interested. I would need to know the answers to my questions before investigating your product further.

Same here. My main concern is does it change current warranty, do you cover the changes with your own warranty, what is the specific mechanical changes, etc. I would need a utube video to help me decide. However, sounds like you are on to something! Keep us informed!

It would be guaranteed to void Toyota's warranty but it may be an option for those who are out of warranty.
