The LED H11 might not be optimal for lowbeam use. You would probably have been better off going with HID on the H11 lowbeams.

Again, let us know how the LED H11 works out for you. Especially paying attention to beam pattern and throw (how far the light goes forward down the road) from the lights.

why it's bad? the light is not scattered like the useless $ 300 oem's. lord of people have complained oem setup is ineffective in bad climates.

You misunderstood the post. It's too bad the laminate film won't go on the projector lenses...

On the other hand, the LEDs you purchased probably won't have a very good beam pattern due to the design of the LEDs.

A halogen bulb and an HID bulb both have pretty much a single point light source, whereas the LED gives off light from two sides, with a circuit board blocking the light from the other side.

led will go in low beam, anything is better than halogen.. I have optilux by Hella in my camry, it's pretty good . for a halogen in the factory fog set. 123_1.jpeg

No, IMO HID is overkill for foglights. Here's my Camry with 4300K HID in the lowbeams and 2500K Nokya halogens in the projector foglights:

Yeah, that looks good. No HID necessary in the foglights.

I should stick to the optilux by Hella for the projector housing I purchased?

I got the parts, but I saw a good how-to guide on removing (folding out of the way) the front underside cover to access the fog lights. Anyone have that guide? Thanks!

isn't that just about a couple of screws to take off the bottom cover? I just ordered the fog light grille.. I have to pop off the whole bumper.. going to take my time.. how hard is to wire the bad boy with the Toyota yaris harness kit?

Not that simple. You have to remove fasteners and screws from the bottom cover, and the fender shields(?), then fold it down. I don't know if I can do it with jackstands, since the instructions I saw here had photos of the car on a lift.
