    I assume you can use a ratchet belt with hooks both ends to secure a gas container and such to the luggage compartment front corner, by hooking the belt to the latch anchors of each of the back seats.

    No one at Toyota has because they are all-in for hydrogen. A hydrogen fuel cell lawn mower; what could possibly go wrong?

    When I'm carrying tricky liquids in the hatch I have largish galvanized steel oil pan (fairly clean) I put in first, put the container in that. And then hem it in with heavy, solid rubber wheel chocks.
