with a Gen 4 in London. Since July, I've felt like I've got something nobody else on the road has.

However, it's like they've multiplied in the last month. Drove 12 miles from the centre of London today to my home in the suburbs.

On the drive home, there was a Gen 4 in front of me. Then one next to me. I even saw one behind another. I stopped counting after 20. Most seem to be white or silver, so at least my grey one still feels a 'bit' special :)

I was stopped behind this one.

I saw my first OTHER Gen 4 last week. There have been a few - maybe a dozen between them all - go through local dealers, but I hadn't seen any - released in March.

BUT VERY STRANGE - I'm in a 40 voice male voice choir, there is one chap with a Gen 3 who I discussed PRIUS at length. Lo and behold, last week at practice, there was a Dark Blue Gen 4 in the carpark - I asked my friend there who it belonged to, and he didn't know. After choir practice, I went to see who had driven it, and it was gone. Someone must have slipped out right on end time.

If there are indeed 3 PRIUS out of 40 members, that is about 200 times the proportion on the roads.

    I'll find out!!

That's a great picture! You have BIG license plates. May I post your photo in another thread? I was talking to bisco about brake lights. I think they should be bigger.

They have renamed quite a few of our colours - it's called LUNAR BLUE here. It was in the dark, I'm told it's great in the sun.

Ok, thanks. I think that color is similar to our blue.

    I'm not sure.

Yes, thanks for asking, I appreciate the courtesy. Now that you mention it, comparing the brake lights with the Audi on the left, the ones on the Prius appear to be smaller, even the high level brake light. Oh, some cars have even bigger number plates on the rear (pic is a Rover 75), 99% are the 'standard' size as shown on the Prius.

    Thank you.
I wish the "Z" tail lights as shown in your picture were part of the brake lights. But they are not. I believe it would be a big improvement.

I was behind a new Prius in bright sunlight, and when the brake lights come on, they don't appear quite as bright as I hoped. And they look kind of small (just that little square.) And yes, the high-level brake light on the spoiler could be longer.

When I'm driving I get a lot of tailgaters. Probably distracted tailgaters. Even when I'm braking, they are right there on my rear-end. Sometimes I wonder if larger brake lights would help.

The high-level brake light should be double or triple the length, across the spoiler. And look at those tiny square brake lights? They should be much longer/vertical.

I really like the LED brake lights on the 2015 Gen3 Prius. Much more noticeable.

I'm convinced nothing will help tailgaters. They are what they are. Here a lot of big pickups, especially the so called Cowboy Cadillac's, like to try and intimidate other drivers if they think your driving or accelerating too slow. They get right on your a** so to speak and stay there.

I saw a huge Ford 4X4 pickup truck that had a replica .45 caliber pistol as the hitch cover. And on the front grill he had a full-size replica AR15 rifle. (Funny, but not politically correct.) I wonder how many times he gets pulled over?:ROFLMAO:

Now now! Size ain't everything! It's the brightness that's gonna count when it's misty or foggy and the nutter behind you needs to know your slowing when he is still pedal to the metal.

That's right. I had a Rover 75 with a big plate on the back. It was special equipment if you got the top of the range model "Connoisseur" trim. Mine was a 2litre BMW diesel engine with a bespoke 5 speed auto gearbox. Loved that car but when Rover went to the wall I part exchange it for a Mercedes.

    Sorry, way off topic.

I'm seriously considering adding a small Firestorm to the rear of my car.

Another month later - I've still only seen the one other (blue) one. I read the other day they've only sold 300 here so far. No stocks, never see them in showrooms, my dealership hasn't had another one in stock since I bought mine in June.

Probably all concentrated in Sydney :p.

Toyota Canada has sold 2,118 through to the end of September but we are a big country and I think most are concentrated in a few major metropolitan areas. I'm starting to see a few more but they're mostly base models. I've seen one or two Technology models (the ones with the moonroof). I've only seen one other Touring but that was before the summer.
