I have a question about Carista pricing: If you only want to use it once in a while, can you pay the $10 'Pro' charge for a week, and then pay that charge again if you want to make some modifications a few months later?

 

Yes.

(There used to be an option in the past to pay something like $20 and own it for life. Not sure if that option is still available.)

 

I have the same problem with my dogs!! I DREAD seeing one of them wiggling around in the seat because I know it will start the inevitable "ding....ding...dingdingdjngDINGDINGINGGGGGG!" My pups don't like it either!

 

just plug the seat belt in behind the dog or get the dog a seat belt harness which plugs in the the belt socket.

Incoming Toyota Prius 4 2016 today. Will it void the warranty if I change backing beep setting using Carista ?

I disabled the backup beep and increased the sensitivity of the automatic headlight sensor.

 

Carista app was recently updated to 3.1.....has anyone updated it yet? If so, is there anything new for Prius?

 

Anyone near Raleigh, NC have a Carista? And if not, Where is the plug-in located inside the Prius? I own a 2016 Prius Touring model.

 

It's located under the dash, approx. 1/2 way in between the steering wheel and the break pedal. You'll know it when you see it. It's a small plug-in looking thing.

 

My Carista shipped from Amazon today. Cant wait to get rid of the backup beep. Om also wondering what else it can do.....

just got my Carista in and modified all the settings I needed to do. Might sell it and re-coup a portion of my investment.

 

Which settings did you change?

 

back up beep, seat belt beep, auto windows down and up. that was most it, or at least what I can remember right now.

 

oh, and this is on my new 2016 3 Touring. I have to change my signature as it still shows my trade in which was an '06

 

Have to say I don't know firstly why this wasn't made user adjustable through the onscreen menus, secondly isn't obvious your in reverse gear when the rear camera comes on? In which case why do you need a constant beeping to remind you?
