If you really don't like the white plastic areas one can always inexpensively vinyl wrap those areas. It is not as hard as one might think, all one needs is a steady hand when cutting out the openings.

This a common mod for covering the interior portion of the Chevy bowtie. I've done it after a rock cracked that area, and it is a simple process.

So, if you don't mind me piling some questions of my own into this thread, here they are.

    For the Prime Advanced:
    1) Regarding the automatic on/off headlights… Can I easily override this automatic settings by manually turning the headlights on and off? If so, can I do that from the stalk? (hopefully there isn't fiddling with a menu) We've got a mandatory headlights on law in Illinois in daytime when it is raining. It can be bright enough in a rainstorm that auto headlights wouldn't turn on by themselves.

    2) The rain sensing wipers look interesting. Can I override that also? Is there a sort of intermittent switch in the Advanced in addition to the auto setting?

    1. Yes. There are the 3 regular positions plus AUTO.

    2. You can disable rain-sensing and have it as a regular intermittent wiper.

I dislike the rain sensing wipers on my Ram. The irregular wiping cycle is distracting and annoying to me. I prefer a regular predictable wipe. Also I use rainx-x so it wipes automatically much more than I need it to, and there is no adjustment for it.

Questions - reverse camera. On the prime, can it be viewed on demand or only while in reverse? Are there indicator lines on the screen? If so, do they move with the steering or are they static?

Can the front passenger seat fold forward? I often carry long items like boards and want to know how much length I would have.

It can fold backward, almost to flat with the back seat (might be able to get it there with a little elbow grease). I've carried things 10 feet long before onto the dash, but 8 foot boards onto the front seat when folded back are no real problem.

I saw a video showing the interior of the prime when it is started and turned off. There was an annoying chime and graphic thing going on. I can't find the video. It was about 30 seconds long. Has anyone seen it?

I shut mine off. Job #1 on getting home with it the first time. (Job#2 is rain-xing the windows.)
