Hi Folks, Been constantly trying to improve my battery, well my SD the 445 mAh and my mean is now about 4873 @24A (why not 20 well blame a lemon of a 130A meter will remove 2 bulbs soon) and about 5473 @1.3A Around x-mas I'll be improving this . But this time I spent a little effort to remove alot of effort down the road. If any1 is interested I will post a link to the instructables tutorial, terramir
The mean is 4873 mAh the Standard Deviation is 445 mAh that means in the standard bell curve about 70% of the modules are of 4873(24A dis) +/- 445 mAh it's a standard distribution measurement. and when I replace around x-mas the six worst modules I have with ones better than my mean the mean should go up and the SD should go down simply because there is a limit to these modules, at 24A discharge the max you could reach in discharge is about 5900 and this would be a full capacity module 6500 @ 1/5C since my modules will not be new best I really can hope for is like 5500-5800 my worst module currently has a 24 A cap. of 4217 my best currently 5683@24A this translates to about + 600mAh more @ 1.3A which is about 1/5 C if I replace my 6 worst modules at x-mas with ones in that range my worst would then be 4600 something @24A and my mean will go up and SD will shrink since the spread will get smaller. btw just two months ago when I factor for that failed meter my worst modules had a capacity of like 3700 mAh @ 24A I replaced 9 of my modules with ones of much better capacity than my worst 9 ones. eventually I want to trade up as much as possible any1 interested in the nickel plating I did? terramir
